We now merged new Python bindings based on Cython that cover most of the API in an object oriented way.

iOS 5 support is available in git master or in soon to be released 1.1.2.

You will need libimobiledevice git master or soon to be released version 1.1.2 of libimobiledevice as there have been changes to the installation_proxy.h API.

A fix similar to this patch has been applied to git master.

Please try again with libplist 1.8.
