iPhone 2G Music Sync Doesn't Work
Reported by Teo | November 15th, 2010 @ 01:56 AM
I installed libimobiledevice and then synced my iPhone 2G with
os 3.1.3 using Rhythm Music Box. Until then everything went smooth,
but when I tried to listen to the music iPhone isn't able to play
it. I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop Edition. Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

Does it show the 'Sync in progress..' screen after putting the music? You need to wait for that to finish, otherwise the music won't even show up on the device. BTW, this is a libgpod and not a libimobiledevice issue.

Thanks, however music synchronization is not handled by libimobildevice.
It is handled by libgpod and thus you should use the bugtracker of that project:
http://www.gtkpod.org/index.php?title=ContactSince you report that you can access your device, you have setup libimobiledevice just fine.
Furthermore you failed to provide further requested information. -
