mount: unknown filesystem type 'ifuse'

I just downloaded, compiled and installed libiphone & ifuse on my OpenSUSE 11.1 x86_64.
I have trouble mounting my ipod touch. I have run libiphone-initconf as myself. I suspect the installation is broken on OpenSUSE. Please see my terminal session attached to the comment below.
Thank you for doing this project, I strongly appreciate that.

Oh no! My neatly formatted terminal session is not displayed in plain text. I will attach the file here.
The big text is only comments. Dollar signs are supposed to begin on a new line, representing the propt. Other line endings were also gone.
