iPhone 3G, ifuse assumes iPod_Control directory exists

Reported by Andrew Kohlsmith | June 16th, 2010 @ 07:54 PM

On the iPhone 3G (3.1.2, jailbroken), ifuse expects the iTunes control to be located off of a directory called iPod_Control; this directory has a new name: iTunes_Control.

Creating a symlink allows it to function correctly.

    Thanks for your report!

However, iFuse has nothing to do with any of the iTunes control directories nor does it influence them.

My assumption is that you are using some media player to sync music (Amarok, Rhythmbox or GTKPod) which all use libgpod to access the device and you might have an old libgpod installed. iPhone support only arrived using libgpod version greater than 0.7.90 which is able to access the correct control directory just fine.

Thus please explain what you are trying to do in detail, which media player you use and the versions of your libraries/software and reopen the bug if needed.
