Can't connect the iphone after 5.1 upgrade

Reported by arv | April 12th, 2012 @ 04:34 PM | in 1.4.0 Release

After upgrading the iphone I cannot seem to connect with it at all.

I tried unpairing and re-paing the phone, but I am getting the following error:

~$ idevicepair -d unpair usbmuxd_get_result: Received packet is too small!
usbmuxd_connect: Connect failed, Error code=-1
ERROR: lockdownd_client_new failed with error code -12

In the dmesg I can see the following:
[ 1528.900044] hub 4-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1 [ 1529.204032] usb 4-1: new full speed USB device number 12 using ohci_hcd [ 1529.405072] usb 4-1: not running at top speed; connect to a high speed hub [ 1530.165229] ipheth 4-1:4.2: Apple iPhone USB Ethernet device attached [ 1530.165268] usbcore: registered new interface driver ipheth [ 1530.235525] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth1: link is not ready

So something is getting recognised with the USB stack, but not I am not able to talk to it for some reason.
Any help would be useful.
