[PATCH] Improve iphone_id and fix current set of tools
Reported by Martin S. | July 28th, 2009 @ 09:45 AM | in 1.0 Release
As noted elsewhere I have now split out some tools which are actually "useful" into tools/ while keeping that "experimental" stuff in dev/ as noinst_*. Now the --enable-dev-tools thing makes more sense, too. I doubt it is useful for the users to install or use msyncclient (which does nothing) for example.
I think we could also get rid of some dev/ tools like afccheck and perhaps just make an iphonetest tool which verifies all functionality libiphone exposes (tests and makes sure all services work). Still that needs to be written and then moved to tools/.
The second patch also makes the iphone_id usage message conforming to the other tools.
Now eagerly waiting for a 0.9.2 release. :)
