Error using idevicebackup2 on iPod touch 4 iOS 6.1

So I compiled libimobiledevice, but when I ran the
idevicebackup2 it wouldn't work.
This error came out:
tw23@tw23-System-Product-Name:~$ idevicebackup2 backup
~/Documents/backup/
Backup directory is "/home/tw23/Documents/backup/"
Started "com.apple.mobilebackup2" service on port 49225.
Could not perform backup protocol version exchange, error code
-1
Any fix?
