ideviceinstaller -i fails with "could not locate Payload/<appname>.app/Info.plist in archive!"
Reported by Quincy | October 27th, 2012 @ 10:41 PM
Similar to ticket #292 the path construction while installing apps
seems difficult.
Currently ideviceinstaller uses "itemName" from
iTunesMetadata.plist for construction of the subdirectories name
where the app resides in. This works in many cases, but within my
(surely not representative) apps only about 30% use the same name
for the ".app" subdirectory. The others mostly use the latter part
of "softwareVersionBundleId", but often with different spelling
regarding upper and lower case. Some don't use any value present in
iTunesMetadata.plist, but have a totally different name. So is
there any convention for that at all? Is there always just one
directory within payload which should automatically get opened?

Fixed in git master. The logic to locate the Info.plist should now handly all the wiered cases.
