Iphone 3G 4.2.1 Banshee Sync Problem

I am running Ubuntu 11.04 Natty
I have iPhone 3G 4.2.1 DBVersion 4
When I connect to the computer my phone shows up in banshee and
it syncs all my music, which takes a while, but then it all goes
into the 'Other" category, then when I disconnect and load iPod
app, it says there is no content.
I know the song files are on my phone because I can see them in
Nautilus I just cant see them on my phone.
Ive been trying to fix this problem for a couple days now with no
success, is there a way to fix this problem ?
