IPhone 3GS won't mount with OS 4.2.1
Reported by dagreen1 | February 24th, 2011 @ 04:33 AM
Having a problem with Unbuntu recognising my IPhone. Whe I plug in the USB I get the error message:
Unbuntu doesn't recognise my IPhone 3GS (OS 4.2.1). I get the error message:
Unable to Mount Don. DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
I tried all 3 USB ports on my laptop with the same results.
My IPhone has a message that says: "Charging not supported with this accessory"
Does anyone have a fix for this?
Thanks!
Don
p.s. I' new to Linux and very versed on the OS
