Sbmanager displays nothing
Reported by boxingsquirrel | July 17th, 2010 @ 07:56 PM
sbmanager displays nothing in the area where it should show the Springboard.
The devices are an iPod Touch 2G (jailbroken with redsn0w, 4.0) and an iPad (jailed, 3.2.1).
My OS is Debian Lenny (stable) w/ libimobiledevice, usbmuxd, libplist, etc. compiled from Git.
To reproduce the problem:
1. Plug in and mount the device via iFuse.
2. Run sbmanager from gnome-terminal.
What should have happened:
sbmanager should have displayed the contents of the Springboard
(icons, folders).
What actually happened:
The black Springboard background was displayed and the time shown
in 24-hour format in the status bar.
In the shell, the following is displayed: "gui_pages_load:
$UUID\ndevice_get_info: $UUID", where $UUID is displayed as the
UUID correctly.

iOS 4 support landed in sbmanager git master a few days ago, thus it should fix this bug.
We do not yet support the iPad yet as we have no such device for testing, although there is work in progress to improve the support in iOS 3.2 devices which will indirectly bring in iPad support.

Just got around to pulling the newest stuff for libimobiledevice and sbmanager and I still have the same problem.
