Can't add music to iphone 3GS after upgrading to 10.04

Reported by chriswho | May 16th, 2010 @ 10:20 AM

After upgrading, I get this message when trying to copy music to my iPhone, running 3.1.2 firmware...

"Error while getting peer-to-peer dbus connection: The name :1.163 was not provided by any .service files"

    • Tag set to 3.1.2, 3gs, libgpod, lucid, music, ubuntu
    • State changed from “new” to “hold”

Your report has nothing to do with libimobiledevice. It is some kind of dbus error and from your report one can not determine what happens at all.

Perhaps you might want to try to explain a bit better what you do, how you do it and what leads to the error.

    • How do you "copy" the music over?
    • What program do you use?
    • What kind of OS are you running and which versions of the packages do you exactly use?
