delegate lighthouse/github access

Reported by Paul Sladen | March 25th, 2009 @ 02:03 AM

Delegate administrator rights on the third-party git/lighthouse accounts (where possible) to 1-2 other developers. It's not important who they are, but provides a level of comfort.

Currently only "Matt Colyer" is available in the responsible list. Lighthouse users should be able to add themselves.

Also some users should be able to change ticket states. (I believe every one should be able to close and reopen tickets as it will prevent duplicates).

I have been trying to figure out how people can add themselves to the responsibility list. Is there an option to join the project in your settings page?

I think I might have to upgrade bug tracker plans in order to add more people maybe?

I am not willing to pay money to add people though so we might have to export our tickets to another system. Someone please prove me wrong.

apparently lighthouse is free for OSS as seen here : http://help.lighthouseapp.com/di...

However only admins can add somebody to a project, not the users themselves. You are supposed to send and invitation for those who are willing to participate in the project (count me in).

You seem to be correct about the payment...

I have been playing with Trac recently and managed to install the multirepo branch and fixed an important bug in the trac git plugin.

It is running surprisingly well, thus one could have Trac managing one project with multiple GIT repositories (libiphone, usbmuxd, libplist, ...) alongside Trac's regular features like tickets, wiki, timeline, code browser and user management to our full control.

I can either offer to host it on my server or I can help set it up somewhere else if interested.
