Connection to ipod touch (model ME979NF/A; IOS version7.0.3 (11B511)

Reported by frans | December 4th, 2013 @ 02:07 PM | in 1.2.0 Release

Treying to get this to work under Fedora 19 and gives following issues/error

[frans@localhost ~]$ idevice_id -l returns Apple ID
[frans@localhost ~]$ idevicepair validate ERROR: Device Apple ID is not paired with this host
[frans@localhost ~]$ idevicepair -u Apple ID pair ERROR: Could not pair with the device because a passcode is set. Please enter the passcode on the device and retry.
[frans@localhost ~]$ idevicepair validate usbmuxd_connect: Connect failed, Error code=3
ERROR: lockdownd_client_new failed with error code -12
[frans@localhost ~]$ idevicepair -u Apple ID pair ERROR: Could not pair with the device because a passcode is set. Please enter the passcode on the device and retry.
[frans@localhost ~]$ ifuse /media/ipod Please disable the password protection on your device and try again.
The device does not allow pairing as long as a password has been set.
You can enable it again after the connection succeeded.

The Ipod noramlly has a passcode as used as well for my work mail/calendar. but office allows me to disable it shortly which i obviously did for this.
Still however complaints, also after switching ipod off and on.
Note this only goes after running usbmuxsd as root from console (and yes it gives the repeated trust questions).
When runnning as service, none of Ilibi routines returns anything although ipod is still showing up in /var/log/messages..
Anyone good suggestions or other options.
Also happy to test certain executables to help solve this problem got Fedora on dual boot with a pure testing setup possible

This is a side effect of the iOS 7 trust dialog and fixed in the latest releases.
